Palé Hall Ltd has announced the sale of its freehold of hotel and restaurant near Bala in North Wales, nestled in the Dee Valley, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park for £6m.
The Palé Hall Hotel and Restaurant, which dates back to 1871, is set within c.50 acres of landscaped gardens and is spread across three floors.
The property underwent a significant refurbishment in 2015, and features 22 en-suite bedrooms, an AA five red star restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar.
It also includes a grand hall, a library and a traditional reception room which boasts views of the gardens.
Additionally, the property benefits from a hydroelectric system, which was originally installed in 1921 and was upgraded with a new turbine in 2017.
Savills has been appointed on behalf of Palé Hall Ltd to sell the freehold of Palé Hall Hotel and Restaurant.
Tom Cunningham, director of Savills, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire the freehold to a luxury, impeccably designed hotel which is finished to an exceptional standard and has strong fundamentals to provide a good return on investment.
“The hotel is the only one of its kind in the area and attracts visitors from all over the globe. There is also existing planning permission to re-develop two further outbuildings into serviced units, which could provide an extra three to five rooms or spa facilities.”
