The Gate Lodge Guest House in Hunstanton, Norfolk, has been brought to market for an undisclosed amount.
This popular guest house is located a short walk from the seaside town’s sandy beaches, main shopping areas and the Princess Theatre.
The Gate Lodge has been extensively refurbished throughout, featuring seven ensuite letting rooms, a breakfast room and a lounge with a mini bar. There is also a two-bedroom owner’s accommodation on the first and second floors.
Stephen Perry and Archie Stirling have owned and operated the business since 2008, and have made the decision to sell as they plan to retire.
The current owners said: “It is now time for us to retire and sadly we have to sell Gate Lodge Guest House, which we have enjoyed running for over 15 years.
“We are selling with Christie and Co because we used them in the past and were very impressed with their knowledge and quality of service.”
Hugo Fairbanks Weston, hotel agent at Christie and Co, added: “This is a charming, high-quality guest house near the centre of Hunstanton which will appeal to many buyers.
“The sale offers an exciting opportunity, which is a credit to the owners who have developed a great reputation for quality service. New owners could very easily expand the business by operating all year round whilst also benefiting from regular repeat business.”
