The St. Andrews Town Hotel in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire has been sold for an undisclosed amount to an undisclosed buyer.
Originally built in the 1820s, the hotel features 31 en suite letting rooms, all decorated in a tasteful, contemporary style.
There are also a range of wedding and event spaces, including the Orangery Room, Drawing Room, the former Library, and Garden Room.
Additionally, there is a sizable reception hall, a bar area, and a formal restaurant with a luxurious feel.
The Grade II listed hotel is situated on a 1.6-acre plot with easy access to nearby Malvern Hills AONB and the Cotswolds AONB.
The hotel was sold to Khurshid Anwar, who had previously owned the Ely House hotel in Wolverhampton, for £1.55m back in 2018.
Sam Roberts, hotel broker at Christie and Co, who handled the sale, said: “I am delighted to have secured an enthusiastic buyer for the St Andrews Town Hotel, it’s a magnificent hotel of grand proportions and one that deserves being brought back to its former glory. I’m very much looking forward to watching the new owner create something truly special.”
