The Landmark London hotel in Marylebone has been awarded the “highly coveted” Dale Carnegie Leadership Development Award.

The accolade recognises the hotel’s executive team’s ongoing success in “empowering, developing and instilling clear values” that enable the team to deliver the best “possible results and achieve their goals”.

The award was presented by Dale Carnegie’s Jean-Louis Van Doorme, on behalf of the organisation’s CEO, to The Landmark London’s Brian Hladnik, Andrew Batchelor and Nicola Forshaw in a presentation ceremony held at the property in September 2018.

Hladnik, managing director of Lancaster Landmark Hotel Company, said: “I continue to be immensely proud of the culture that the leadership has built at The Landmark London. Their passion and dedication have made this success possible and it is deeply gratifying to see The Landmark London family recognised and rewarded for their commitment to working together to achieve excellence in everything they do.”

GM Andrew Batchelor added: “To be recognised by Dale Carnegie with this award is a huge honour and I am exceptionally proud of the entire team at The Landmark London. Achieving the Leadership Development Award is down to the ongoing hard work of each and every member of our team at the hotel and the leadership’s continual investment in their development and wellbeing.”

Nicola Forshaw, director of human resources, added: “We are delighted to be presented with Leadership Development Award. At The Landmark London, we are deeply committed to creating an environment that promotes continuous learning and development, so that every member of our team can reach their potential and achieve their personal career ambitions.”

The accolade adds to The Landmark London’s recent award success in being the first and only hotel in the world to achieve a Platinum Level accreditation by Investors in People.
