Numa Group, the European operator of a fully digitalised hospitality platform, has acquired lifestyle aparthotel brand Native Places from Native Holdings for an undisclosed sum.

It revealed Native Residential will continue as part of Native Holdings and will be focused on growing as one of the UK’s largest operators of build-to-rent, co-living, mixed use and commercial assets under the leadership of Guy Nixon.

Native Places has over 800 units and is headquartered in London with assets ranging from small to medium-scale serviced apartment buildings in London under the brand of The Apartment Collection to larger-scale Native Apart Hotels.

Numa said the acquisition of Native Places marks a logical continuation of its growth strategy across Europe. The firm added it is focusing on hotel and commercial properties in central locations of Europe’s major cities for conversion to digitalised hotels. The company targets lively neighbourhoods and main demand drivers for tourism and business travellers.

The group recently reached €2bn (£1.56bn) in real estate assets under management and manages over 6,500 rooms and apartments across 34 major cities in 14 European countries. Native Places will add over 800 new units to NUMA’s property portfolio, bringing the total to over 7,300 units.
