7H has announced it has been awarded the management contract for Thornbury Castle, a historic luxury hotel located in the picturesque Cotswolds.
The contract sees the “fast-growing” UK based hospitality management company reach 21 hotels under management.
7H said Thornbury Castle, which dates back to the 16th Century, features “stunning” architectural features and is an iconic property that “perfectly aligns with its vision of luxury and sophistication”.
The hotel features 27 bedchambers including the Catherine of Aragon Tower Suite which is located at the top of a 77-step spiral staircase and features 24-carat gilding and what it claims is the “largest four-poster bed in any UK hotel”.
Richard Ellison, CEO of 7 Hospitality Management, said: “Thornbury Castle joining our hotel portfolio is a significant milestone for 7H. We are honoured to be the new stewards of this remarkable property and are committed to preserving its historical significance while elevating the guest experience to new heights.
We will work with the hotel owners in achieving the real potential this hotel and land has, through both management services and the development of the new facilities.”
