The Holiday Inn Nottingham, on Castle Bridge Road, has completed the transformation of its bedrooms, lobby, bar, breakfast area, and outdoor seating space in addition to an extension to its meeting room.
The recent refurbishment included a renovation to 37 of its third-floor bedrooms and ensuites, while the opening of its new ‘Marina Suite’ meeting and event space, which has the capacity to accommodate 100 seated guests.
The hotel’s new bar and media area has also been designed to encourage remote workers, with its new-look breakfast space and outdoor heated patio terrace.
Additionally, the renovation includes new artwork throughout the hotel that pays homage to Nottingham’s history, including its lace industry, Raleigh bikes, Paul Smith clothing and Robin Hood.
The hotel is managed by Countrywide Hotels, a UK hotel management and consultancy company established in response to hotel owners looking for a more flexible and market aware approach to a management contract or franchise.
Helen McConnell, general manager at Holiday Inn Nottingham, said: “We believed the hotel needed modernisation to enhance the guest experience and to make the working environment for our staff more enjoyable.
“Having worked at the hotel for over a decade, it’s been amazing to help transform it into a modern, open space ideal for hybrid working, outdoor dining, and more. The addition of our new Marina Suite now makes us the perfect destination for a multitude of events.”
She added: “We’re excited to provide guests with a fantastic service in our newly renovated hotel, and will continually strive to make sure Holiday Inn Nottingham is the preferred choice for all guests wanting to stay in and around this great city.”
