Knipoch House Hotel, a retreat in North-West Scotland, is targeting the international golf market as they announce a partnership with Glencruitten Golf Club.
Located a short drive from Knipoch House Hotel, Glencruitten Golf Club offers a 18-hole course designed by renowned course architect, James Braid. This new partnership will allow guests to easily book a tee time with Glencruitten Golf Club.
The course, where Ryder Cup winner Robert MacIntyre honed his skills, highlights the experience it offers to golfers. MacIntyre, who recently clinched his first PGA Tour title at the Canadian Open and secured a victory at the Genesis Scottish Open, continues to make headlines and elevate Oban’s golfing reputation.
Following extensive investment and relaunch as a Sonas Collection hotel in March this year, this contemporary 26-bedroom country house hotel is repositioning itself as a “haven” for golfers seeking to experience the best of Scottish golf, away from the well-known east coast courses.
After a day on the green, visiting golfers can return to the countryside retreat to enjoy locally inspired menus, recap on their day over a drink in the lounge, or soothe muscles with a dip in the hot tub.
Andreas Maszczyk, group general manager of Sonas Collection, said: “We’re thrilled to work alongside Glencruitten Golf Club to offer golf to our guests. Our unique setting on the West coast gives us the privilege of providing access to some of the most scenic courses in Scotland.
“We are also proud to announce our sponsorship of hole 12, a sprawling 433-yard run that makes up the most challenging hole of the course as we encourage our guests to embrace the excitement of an incredible day of golf.”
Kenny Devine, club captain, added: “This partnership is an exciting opportunity for Glencruitten Golf Club. By leveraging Scotland’s rich golfing heritage and world-class hospitality, this collaboration enhances the overall experience for golfers and will contribute to the local community and economy.”
