Rutland Hall Hotel in Oakham has appointed Sunil Kanjanghat as general manager.
Kanjanghat joins Rutland Hall from Hand Picked Hotels, where he worked for three years as general manager at the Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa.
He has worked at a managerial post in several other hotels including the Lainston House, an Exclusive Collection hotel, Careys Manor Hotel and Senspa, The Montagu Arms Hotel and Macdonald Hotels and Resorts.
In his new role, Kanjanghat will work alongside owners Priyesh Patel MBE DL and Minesh Patel.
Rutland Hall, a lakeside retreat nestled in 70 acres of parkland, offers a variety of accommodation options, from “luxurious rooms” in the 19th-Century country house hotel to apartments with private balconies overlooking Rutland Water.
Guests can also dine at the Blossoms restaurant and bar, or access leisure facilities, including a gym and the upcoming Four Roots wellness experience featuring bathing, treatments, and relaxation.
Rutland Hall also offers outdoor activities like crazy golf, pitch and putt, nearby Rutland Water attractions, museums, and wildlife reserves.
Additionally, Rutland Hall also provides a venue for conferences and corporate events accommodating groups from six to 200 delegates.
