Leicester-based rugby team Leicester Tigers has announced the opening of Hotel Brooklyn next to its stadium.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester’s design has been inspired by a US-styled property and features 191 bedrooms and suites.
It also includes its own bridge to the Tigers stadium and enjoyment spaces created to enhance fans’ matchday experience as Tigers’ official hotel partner.
Paul Bayliss MBE, general manager of Hotel Brooklyn Leicester, said: “As everyone will see now the construction phase is finally complete, the hotel makes for a really impressive sight, inside and out.
“We sit only next to Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium and, as official hotel partner, we’re keen to be an asset to the club and so Tigers fans are able to take advantage of our special rates on matchdays (or any other dates when they may need to stay in Leicester) or just make a booking for lunch, dinner or a business breakfast.”
He added: “Fans are being offered a discount of 10% on bedroom and suite bookings, and there are further reductions on food and beverage when guests stay with us. Like everyone, we can’t wait for the new season to begin and we are very, very proud to be working so closely with the Leicester Tigers as reigning Premiership champions.”
