The Montenotte, the four-star hotel in Cork, has appointed Anne-Marie Guerin as spa manager of The Bellevue Spa.
With 19 years of experience in wellness, spa operations and business, the hotel said Guerin “brings exceptional expertise” to the urban resort.
Her career spans roles at prestigious establishments including Woodworth and Whelen, where she began as a spa therapist in 2005, followed by positions at Radisson Blu and The Clarion Hotel. Most recently, she served as spa manager at The Escape Spa and previously held the position of Health Club and Spa Manager at Radisson Blu.
Prior to joining The Montenotte, Guerin developed extensive expertise in both beauty therapy and operational management. She now joins an experienced team of seven therapists and two receptionists across six treatment rooms, overseeing the delivery of bespoke and personalised spa experiences, including deep tissue massages, body treatments, holistic therapy and customised facials.
The hotel added that Guerin is ”passionate about wellness, beauty, and alternative medicine”, with her leadership philosophy centering on “approachability, teamwork and no hierarchy”.
Her hands-on approach includes personally delivering treatments and supporting reception operations, fostering an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to create authentic guest experiences.
Beyond her role at The Montenote’s Bellevue Spa, Guerin maintains her own wellness practice and passion for health and fitness through Reformer Pilates.
The Montenotte, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, offers 107 luxury hotel rooms, 26 private self-catering apartments, and the newly launched Woodland Suite Experience.
