Travelodge has officially opened its 10th hotel in Liverpool, which has 101 rooms and overlooks Queens Dock.
Travelodge Central Queens Dock and Arena benefits from 70 on-site car parking spaces and is situated just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, and in close proximity to many attractions, such as the Royal Albert Dock, the Museum of Liverpool, and the Cavern Club.
The M&S Bank Arena and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool are both less than a 500m-walk, on the opposite side of the docks.
This hotel also offers business travelers excellent convenience with its proximity to the M62 motorway and a short 15-minute drive to Liverpool Lime Street station.
In addition, football enthusiasts will have easy access to both Anfield, the home of the Premier League champions Liverpool FC, and Everton FC’s newly built Everton Stadium.
Operating over 600 hotels across the UK, Ireland and Spain, Travelodge is currently expanding its portfolio to “offer more choice to its customers and support local communities through job creation”.
The hotel will undergo a full refurbishment over the coming months and will be refitted to Travelodge’s brand standards, featuring a new look and feel design.
Tony O’Brien, UK development director of Travelodge, said: “We can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors of our very latest new hotel – Liverpool Central Queens Dock and Arena.
“Liverpool is a fantastic location, and our new hotel will provide a great base for both leisure and business travellers, allowing them to enjoy everything the city has to offer.”
