IHG Hotels and Resorts has opened its 100th Voco hotel, seven years after launching the premium brand.

The company said Voco was now its fastest-growing brand within its premium collection, following record signings and openings in 2024. The brand operates in more than 25 countries, with new market entries planned in Turkey, Malaysia and Aruba over the next two years.

IHG revealed that the number of open and pipeline hotels had nearly doubled in the past year, rising from 100 in 2023 to 195. Of these, 100 are now open and 95 are in the pipeline.

The brand’s growth has been driven by a design and operations model tailored to hotel conversions, offering lower upfront investment and faster integration into IHG’s global systems.

Ginger Taggart, vice president for global Crowne Plaza and Voco hotels at IHG, said: “We are so proud to have opened 100 Voco hotels in less than seven years. The brand has grown faster, pushed further and continues to exceed expectations every year.

“We’re now open in more than 25 countries, from the UK to Australia, Singapore and the US, and as we continue to redefine premium hospitality, Voco has proven its success to our owners and our guests.”

She added: “We see our owners around the world benefit from fast access to our enterprise platform and from IHG’s high levels of guest satisfaction globally. With a pipeline of 95 hotels, we are on track to achieve our initial goal of 200 Voco hotels around the world within 10 years of launch.”
