The Belfry Hotel and Resort has completed a multi-million pound expansion project, unveiling new accommodation, leisure facilities and its largest events space to date.

The two-year development, finished ahead of schedule, includes Brabazon House, a new wing with 149 bedrooms.

Among the additions are balcony rooms overlooking the Brabazon golf course and the resort’s first two-bedroom suite.

Additionally, the Masters Suite is now the resort’s largest events venue at 852sqm, with a capacity of up to 920 people.

It has generated more than £80m in enquiries and £10m in confirmed bookings ahead of opening, with early clients including DP World Tour and Team Europe.

The project also introduces The Club, a fitness and leisure centre featuring a Technogym with views over the PGA National course, yoga and Pilates studios, a multi-purpose sports hall and swimming facilities, including a 25-metre lap pool and family pool with flume.

The Belfry, based in the Midlands, is known for its three golf courses, spa, restaurants, bars and meeting spaces.

Chris Eigelaar, managing director of The Belfry Hotel and Resort, said: “This has been a passion project for us all, and it’s incredible that the day has finally arrived when guests can enjoy the complete Belfry Resort experience.”
