Moxy Bristol has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use “Very Good” certification, recognising its environmental performance and sustainable operations.
The 214-room hotel, which opened in May 2022, was developed with sustainability as a central focus.
It has eliminated single-use plastics and is continuing to trial new eco-friendly initiatives. Responsible construction methods were also used in the project.
Located on the edge of Bristol city centre, the hotel includes social spaces, a large communal work desk, and a bar.
It also boasts a 24/7 food and beverage station, a fitness centre, and stylish bedrooms with Chromecast-equipped TVs, en-suite bathrooms, and USB charging points.
The BREEAM In-Use certification is one of the leading international standards for assessing the environmental performance of existing buildings.
Moxy said: “With its excellent location on the edge of the city centre – close to Bristol’s new shopping district and with convenient access to Bristol Airport – Moxy Bristol is ideally positioned for couples, families, and business travelers seeking a modern, sustainable stay.”
