Hilton opens new Lincoln Plaza London hotel

The Lincoln Plaza London hotel, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, has opened in the heart of Canary Wharf.

The 129-bedroom property was designed by RPW Design, and features 465 square metres of event space distributed across seven meeting rooms, with the firm implementing a blend “old industrial and contemporary design” across the hotel.

Additionally, the design studio made a decision to remove the “traditional” hotel room desk, and designed a multi-use table at the right height for either a work space or dining table whilst seated at the armchair – allowing for a more residential feel.

Richard Snow, senior designer at RPW Design, said: “We drew on the rich industrial past of the area using rusty tones and finishes alongside the design of joinery and FF&E pieces with exposed metal framework.

“At the same time, conscious of the hotel brand and surrounding residential developments, we included quality finishes such as natural stone in the bathrooms and on joinery, as well as statement pieces like the rusty/burnished gold wall covering to the bed head wall.”
