Hilton has agreed an exclusive partnership with Explora Journeys, the ocean travel brand of MSC Group, in a move that will extend the hotel company’s loyalty programme to cruise itineraries from summer 2026.

The collaboration will enable Hilton Honors members to book, earn and redeem points on Explora Journeys sailings across regions including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean and the Red Sea. A preview offer is available until 7 June 2026, highlighting 16 itineraries with introductory savings.

Explora Journeys president Anna Nash said the agreement brought together brands that value slower, immersive travel. She said: “This partnership unites two brands committed to thoughtful travel, meaningful connection, and deep discovery. Together, we’re offering Hilton Honors members a stay at sea that blends the freedom of the ocean with the warmth of genuine hospitality.”

Hilton said the new offer would sit alongside existing partnerships, including its arrangement with outdoor hospitality provider AutoCamp. The company added that members would retain access to loyalty benefits across its portfolio of more than 9,000 properties worldwide.

The firms said the growth of ocean travel, driven by demand for slower and more immersive itineraries, had informed the partnership. Explora’s Journeys allow extended time in port and emphasise cultural and environmental experiences over rapid travel between destinations.

Under the agreement, Hilton Honors members will receive on-board benefits when booking Explora sailings and will be able to use points across a range of regional programmes. Destinations include Mediterranean islands and ports, Iceland and Greenland, the Caribbean and Central America, the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, Alaska and Canada, and Asia, where immersive Japan itineraries will begin in 2027.

Chris Silcock, Hilton’s president of global brands and commercial services, added: “This exciting new partnership creates the perfect moment to launch Hilton Honors Adventures, introducing new ways for our members to experience iconic destinations and hidden gems around the world.”

Further details of the on-board benefits and redemption structure are expected ahead of the programme’s launch next summer.
