RBH has appointed a further two team members at its soon to be open Aberdeen hotels.

Emily Mackenzie and Ross Allerton have joined the senior team for Hilton Aberdeen TECA and Aloft Aberdeen TECA, led by cluster general manager, Mark Leyland.

Mackenzie has taken on the role of Cluster marketing executive while Allerton has stepped into the position of cluster sales manager.

Mackenzie had previously worked at Aberdeen Journals as a marketing assistant, whilst Allerton was previously a sales executive at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre in 2011, before moving onto bookings and reservations at Trump International Golf Links.

Mackenzie said: “I am thrilled to have joined the RBH family, and to have come on board at such an exciting time for both Hilton Aberdeen TECA and Aloft Aberdeen TECA. The opening will be an exciting and challenging time for the whole team, but I am eager to bring all the experience I have to the table on what will be an incredible journey.”

Allerton added: “I am looking forward to working with the senior team, bringing all of our knowledge and expertise together to create exceptional experiences for business and leisure guests at both properties.

“This is an exciting time for Event Complex Aberdeen and I can’t wait to be part of the developments, particularly given the fact that I started my career at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.”

Hilton Aberdeen TECA hotel will offer 200 stylish bedrooms and the 150-bedroom Aloft Aberdeen TECA will target the “next generation of travellers”, offering tech-forward amenities, live music and urban-style interiors.

Aloft Aberdeen TECA will also be located next door to The Event Complex Aberdeen, whilst Hilton Aberdeen TECA will adjoin the new conference centre, which is currently under construction.
