Owned and operated by GG Hospitality, which is headed up by Giggs and Neville, the 133-bedroom hotel is now taking bookings and will officially open on December 8.
Located opposite Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, the hotel follows on from GG Hospitality’s first venture – Café Football – which launched in December 2013 in Westfield Stratford.
The hotel will feature Café Football Manchester which will serve dishes that have proven popular at its London counterpart, including signature dishes The Boss Burger and Café Football Sausage Roll.
The hotel will also be the base of the Old Trafford Supporters Club, and will include a conference centre and five-a-side football pitch on its roof.
Stuart Procter, managing director of GG Hospitality, said: “The announcement of the official opening date and the sneak peek inside what is one of the UK’s most unique hotel developments, is the next major milestone in this project. I’m looking forward to taking our very first bookings.
“We have built the foundations of a strong and experienced team to drive forward the opening of the Hotel Football later this year, but the ‘transfer window’ is still open and there is still room for many more recruits.”
Neville said: “To make sure that the hotel appeals to everyone, not just football fans, we are working with some of the most talented people in the industry to create something unique and inviting – with a focus on excellent customer service.”
