Mercure Shrewsbury Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa has completed a £2.5m refurbishment of its public areas, bedrooms, spa and wedding facilities.
Mercure Shrewsbury Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa is set inside a 1730s Manor House, with 15 acres of landscaped grounds and ornamental lake. The hotel has 87 guest rooms and is conveniently located just three miles from Shrewsbury town centre.
The four-star country house hotel and spa is managed by Focus Hotel Management and has a range of leisure facilities, including swimming pool, spa and Jacuzzi along with seven function rooms – for hosting conferences, meetings, banqueting and events. It is also a renowned wedding venue.
Jennifer Sibbald-Wall, hotel manager, said: “We have completed the final phase of our refurbishment project with an upgrade of 53 bedrooms in both the historic house and the new Lakeside wing. We are looking forward to welcoming both returning guests and new and we can’t wait to introduce them to our beautifully transformed hotel.”
