The 162-bed hotel, currently under construction, will incorporate a listed façade, and is located on Connell Crescent in the Park Royal, Ealing. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2020, the hotel will be Starboard Hotels’ first London property.
Teeken has over 20 years of senior hotel management experience, working with leading hotel brands in his native Holland as well as Scotland, Japan and England
Starboard founder and managing director, Paul Callingham, said: “The appointment of Marnix Teeken as opening general manager of our flagship London Hampton by Hilton Hotel marks a significant step in the development of the hotel, which is on schedule to open in early 2020. Marnix is a highly experienced hospitality professional and brings with him a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of running a hotel.
“He has been a valued member of the Starboard general management team for a number of years now having been the manager of our Ibis hotel at Gatwick, we are looking forward to working together on the launch of this exciting new development. This will be the first Hampton by Hilton in the Starboard portfolio and reflects our ambitious growth plans.”
