Doubletree by Hilton Sheffield appoints new hotel manager

Tom Smith has been appointed as the new hotel manager at DoubleTree by Hilton, Sheffield Park, which is operated by Vine Hotels.

Smith has worked at the DoubleTree by Hilton venue for the past 16 years, most recently as operations manager.

His new role comes after the hotel recently opened The Steakhouse Bar and Grill by Marco Pierre White – a project overseen by Smith and his team. Since its launch, the restaurant is enjoying “huge success” and Smith said he hopes to build upon this as well as increasing revenue for the hotel by growing the events and conference side of the business.
