Located on the site of the multi-million pound P&J Live on The Event Complex Aberdeen, it is the latest addition to the growing Hilton Hotels and Resorts portfolio, one of Hilton’s 17 brands.

The property features 200 bedrooms over four floors, including nine suites named after the region’s most famous sons and daughters – and the presidential suite with its exclusive outdoor terrace space.

The hotel, which is operated by hotel management company, RBH, toasted the first guests to check in with complementary Moët and in-room gifts. The hotel also features the Quarter House Bar and Grill, with a menu curated by executive head chef, Sayan Bandyopadhyay.

The Devona Spa also offers a Technogym fitness centre and dance studio, 20m heated indoor pool and whirlpool, as well as a sauna and steam room, it also boasts Aberdeen’s first range of Clarins spa treatments across four treatment rooms, nail bar and stunning relaxation lounge.

Conferences and events for up to 90 guests can also be catered for, with 257m2 of meeting space, whilst Hilton Honors members can enjoy exclusive access to the expansive executive lounge with outdoor terrace overlooking the P&J Live piazza.

Mark Leyland, general manager of Hilton Aberdeen TECA, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to open our doors and welcome our first guests to Aberdeen’s only Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded property. This represents a major milestone for the brand, and goes another step further in bringing The Event Complex Aberdeen to life.

“Not only will our guests enjoy the warm hospitality that Aberdeen is renowned for, they will also be able to relax and indulge thanks to our first-class facilities, including the luxurious Devona Spa and fantastic Quarter House Bar and Grill – perfect whether guests are staying with us for business or pleasure.”

Andrew Robb, chief business development officer at RBH, added: “It is fantastic to see Hilton Aberdeen TECA officially open its doors to guests. We have worked closely with Hilton over the years, and to oversee the opening of the city’s only Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand hotel is a very proud moment indeed.

“It also marks a major milestone for the wider hospitality industry in Aberdeen. This new property offers a truly luxurious proposition for business and leisure travellers visiting the city in a totally unique location, and we look forward to seeing it go from strength to strength, welcoming visitors from around the world as well as those closer to home.”
