DoubleTree by Hilton opens new property in Harrogate

DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel and Spa has opened its doors to guests, with the newly refurbished hotel offering new spa facilities and culinary concepts.

Dating back to the 1900s, the hotel has been transformed into a “contemporary oasis with Victorian charm”. With 11-suites to choose from as well as 173 standard superior and deluxe guest rooms are available.

The hotel also offers 14 meeting rooms with the largest room spanning 1,860 square metres and holding up to 350 guests. In addition, the property is the only spa hotel in the town centre, offering six treatment rooms .

For a culinary offering guests can dine at Carter’s Champagne Bar and Grill which serves locally sourced rare breed meat aged in the hotel’s very own meat ageing cabinet alongside carefully selected champagne, wine and cocktail pairings.

Simon Vincent, president Europe, Middle East and Africa at Hilton, said: “The town of Harrogate is the perfect spot to explore all that Yorkshire has to offer, and we are excited to open our first property here. Boasting the last working Turkish Baths in the country, as well as being surrounded by the beautiful British countryside, it is no surprise that it continues to be a popular destination with nine million tourists a year making their way to the town.”
