Simon Vincent, president Europe, Middle East and Africa at Hilton, said: “The town of Harrogate is the perfect spot to explore all that Yorkshire has to offer, and we are excited to open our first property here. Boasting the last working Turkish Baths in the country, as well as being surrounded by the beautiful British countryside, it is no surprise that it continues to be a popular destination with nine million tourists a year making their way to the town.”
Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, added: “As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of DoubleTree by Hilton this year, we are thrilled to expand the brand’s presence in these historic locations.
“New openings such as DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel and Spa continue to highlight our legacy and our commitment to providing guests with a warm welcome and comfortable stay.”
