Located in London’s Leicester Square neighbourhood on Whitcomb Street, The Londoner is the latest project by Edwardian Hotels London, the privately-owned hotel group behind the development of The May Fair Hotel.
Recently appointed hotel director Charles Oak has re-joined Edwardian Hotels London to manage the hotel opening.
The hotel will open across 16 storeys with 350 guest rooms and suites and a tower penthouse with panoramic views; two private screening rooms; a mix of six concept eateries, bars and a tavern, including alfresco dining on the ground floor and a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit.
The hotel’s 350 guestrooms and suites will open from levels seven to sixteen and feature floor to ceiling windows, “the latest technology” and curated artworks and the latest technology.
Located in the property’s subterranean levels are a variety of meeting spaces, including a state-of-the-art ballroom accommodating up to 864 guests; A room for bespoke events and seven private meeting rooms as well as a spa, swimming pool and gym; hair and nail salon; barber shop and two private screening rooms.
The Londoner is a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Legend Collection, and will be bookable via PreferredHotels.com starting October 2019.
