The Mercure Burton Upon Trent Newton Park Hotel unveils new guest rooms

The Mercure Burton Upon Trent Newton Park Hotel has unveiled its new renovated guest rooms.

21 of the hotels 50 bedrooms have been fully refurbished, which includes ‘privilege’ and ‘classic’ rooms, most with garden views, as well as the ‘superior bridal suite’ which has gone through a complete upgrade.

Located in Staffordshire, the four-star Grade II-listed Mercure Burton Upon Trent Newton Park Hotel is an 18th century Italianate-style country manor house, which spans across eight acres of landscape lawns and formal gardens.

Commenting on the refurbishment, general manager of the Mercure Burton Upon Trent Newton Park Hotel, Wilma Gallagher said: “I am thrilled to unveil our new guest bedrooms, designed to create a modern luxurious feel with the charm and cosiness of our traditional country manor setting.

“This investment is really important to meet the high standards our guests have come to expect and, in particular, the bridal suite which has been totally revamped and which I’m most proud to present to prospective couples.”
