Carmarthenshire-based boutique hotel The Waun Wyllt Inn has closed its doors.

The five-bedroom hotel which opened in Llanelli in 2014 announced it has ceased trading immediately due to “unforeseen circumstances”, according to the company’s website.

The notice read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances The Waun Wyllt Inn will be closed with immediate effect from 2nd March 2020. We would like to thank all our customers and suppliers for the support they have provided us since we opened The Waun Wyllt in August 2014.”

In 2013, the property was purchased by local family business T.A.D Builders and is not listed for sale with Avison Young, with a guide price of £450,000.
