Manchester-based Hotel Brooklyn has announced it will reopen for business on 21 August 2020.
The 189-bedroom hotel, which opened on Portland Street in February, spans across seven floors and comprises a rooftop bar, events space and restaurant serving American-inspired cuisine.
Earlier this year, Hotel Brooklyn alongside other hotels, temporarily closed its doors, following government guidelines to help prevent the Covid-19 virus.
General manager Paul Bayliss said: “I am delighted to get back into the office post-Covid-19 lockdown and celebrate the hospitality industry for what it is – the art of entertaining guests.
“It’s time for the beleaguered travel and hospitality industries to get back on their feet. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Manchester’s little piece of the Big Apple.”
The news comes as Hotel Brooklyn announced it is to open its second design-led hotel in Leicester in summer 2022, following the successful launch of its Manchester sibling in February.
Located beside the expanded Welford Road Stadium – home to the famous Leicester Tigers rugby team – Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester will boast 191 bedrooms, and a restaurant and bar.
