PPHE Hotel Group has announced Eli Papouchado, chairman of the board of directors, has appointed his son, Yoav Papouchado, as an alternate director who may act in his absence with immediate effect.
This appointment has been approved by the board of directors of the company.
Yoav Papouchado has over 30 years of experience of residential developments and data centres worldwide and is currently chairman of Red Sea Hotels and president of Gear Construction, the construction arm of Red Sea.
He is also a member of the supervisory board, and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Arena Hospitality Group.
Red Sea is controlled by Eli Papouchado, who, together with his family trusts, owns 32.4% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares).
The news follows PPHE Hotel Group has revealed it will have reopened 80% of its hotels by the end of July following the launch of its 20-step ‘Reassuring Moments’ programme working alongside Radisson Hotel Group.
Several of PPHE’s city and provincial hotels in the UK are reopening in the first half of July, including the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London has remained open to provide accommodation to key workers.
