The Woburn Hotel on the Duke of Bedford’s Woburn Estate has announced it has permanently closed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A statement on the hotel’s website said: “Having closed our doors on Saturday 21 March following the government directive, it is with much regret that the extremely difficult decision has been made for The Woburn Hotel to remain closed permanently.
“Our dedicated colleagues are now in the process of contacting all our guests who have forthcoming reservations with us.”
It added: “We would like to thank all of our guests, colleagues and partners for your loyalty, support and friendship to us all over the years and wish you well for the future.”
The hotel, which includes 55 bedrooms also includes a two-AA Rosette Olivier’s restaurant, was also previously named The Inn at Woburn until 2014, when it rebranded following a refurbishment programme.
