Clubhouse Group acquires second Milton Keynes Mercure hotel

The Clubhouse Group has acquired the Mercure Parkside House Hotel in Milton Keynes for an undisclosed sum. 

The 49-bedroom hotel was marketed at a guide price of £2.6m by property company Christie & Co.

The Clubhouse Group, headed Nazim Manji, owns hotels in Switzerland, Holland and Belgium as well as the Mercure Abbey Hill Hotel, also in Milton Keynes.

Stewart Harkness, associate director at Christie & Co, said: “This opportunity came about at the perfect time for The Clubhouse Group, following the huge success in revamping the Mercure Abbey Hill Hotel, which we sold to Nazim in 2012.

“The Parkside currently ranks as one of the best-loved wedding venues in Milton Keynes and we are confident the hotel will continue to prosper and progress under the new ownership.”
