Wyndham Hotels, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, has appointed four regional directors across Europe.
The decision comes as part of the company’s plans to provide closer support to its hotel partners across EMEA.
The appointments include; Jackie Brown (North and West Europe), Sascha Dalig (Central Europe), Vassilis Themelidis (South and East Europe), and Mehmet Ferman Dogan (Turkey).
The new appointees will be joining previously hired Michel Augier and Nikhil Sharma, regional directors for the Middle East and Africa, and Eurasia respectively, completing plans to strengthen leadership in six key geographic areas across EMEA.
Dimitris Manikis, president for EMEA at Wyndham Hotels, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jackie, Sascha, Vassilis and Mehmet Ferman to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
“Each of them brings a wealth of sector experience and individual skills that perfectly complement our existing talented teams. Their leadership and focus on engagement will be instrumental in delivering our EMEA strategy to continue to drive consistency, add value and place our regional resources closer to our hotels partners.”
Brown has experience serving as executive director for the multi-national events firm, Freeman. She will be tasked with overseeing 120 Wyndham-branded properties, including 70 hotels in the UK alone.
She said: “North and West Europe represents a key region for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, with a very exciting portfolio in established markets as well as new and emerging destinations. I am delighted to join Wyndham and I look forward to continuing the remarkable work the team has done in this fascinating region.”
Elsewhere, Themelidis has worked as regional director for various markets at the timeshare exchange company RCI, and Dogan previously worked for MP Hotels, while Dalig is a longstanding member of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
