Cameron House Hotel has announced three additions to its executive team to help “spearhead” the reopening of the hotel in 2021.

The hotel revealed Cerelle Gooding has been appointed to the role of director of Sales after having worked at some “iconic” hotels in her career such as Four Seasons Hualalai, Hawaii, Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii and Hotel del Coronado, California.

It added that with over 20 years of experience in the international luxury hotel sector, Gooding brings with her a “breadth of expertise in engaging with versatile clientele, with extensive knowledge of the high expectations that seasoned travellers have of a world-class getaway”.

Tony Cheung also joins as director of Revenue Management from the 496-room Grosvenor House, A JW Marriot Hotel, London. With over 20 years of hotel group experience across Dubai, Malaysia, Saint Lucia and previously Cameron House from 2010 to 2011, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience on management strategies to maximise growth.

In addition, at the helm of culinary operations of Cameron House Resort, chef Zoltan Szabo rejoins the hotel as executive chef.

The hotel said he brings with him a “wealth of experience” in menu development, creating “unforgettable” dining experiences, training, and mentoring teams.

Szabo has more than 15 years’ experience in senior roles in hotels across Scotland and was previously the senior head chef at Cameron House from 2014 to 2015.

He will lead the five-star resort’s existing portfolio as well as three new additions to its collection of restaurants and bars that will soon be introduced as the hotel prepares to reopen next year.

Andy Roger, resort director, said: “It’s a real pleasure to be able to complete our executive team here at Cameron House Resort with three exceptional new hires.

“We are dedicated to delivering an unrivalled experience for all our guests and by having the right team in place as we embark on the next stage of the resort’s journey, this means we can continue to build on that commitment.”

He added: “These talented executives will play pivotal roles in leading our exceptional teams through what is the most highly anticipated period of the resort’s history. I am confident that as the executive team pursue the opportunities their roles present them with, these excellent leaders will have an even bigger impact on the future of Cameron House Resort.”
