Moorland Garden Hotel sold for over £1m

The Moorland Garden Hotel near Dartmoor National Park has been sold in excess of its asking price of £1m. 

The four star venue in Plymouth houses 44 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar lounge and a wedding and events facilities which holds 200 guests, in addition it is situated in an accessible location on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, approximately 6 miles from the A38 Devon Expressway, leading to the M5 motorway. 

There are also three meeting rooms and an outdoor licenced wedding gazebo on the grounds of the property

James Greenslade, associate director at Savills who handled the sale, said: “We are pleased to complete the sale of Moorland Garden Hotel.

“We continue to see regional hotels attracting interest from cash rich investors both on existing use bases but also for possible alternative uses.”
