InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), which owns the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brands, has expanded its portfolio of Staybridge Suites with the opening of a new property in Vauxhall, London.

Staybridge Suites London Vauxhall, which will operate under a franchise agreement with IHG and is owned by Spring Mews, is located just off of Albert Embankment with views over the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye.

The 93-suite new build hotel, IHG’s fifth Staybridge Suites in the UK, features fully equipped kitchens, large work areas, fitness room, free wireless, business centre and a laundry room.

Mike Greenup, vice president of brand management, Staybridge Suites, IHG, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening Staybridge Suites London Vauxhall, our fifth hotel for the brand in the UK, in one of our key cities. With each suite having its own kitchen and the hotel putting on social gatherings, guests will experience a home away from home.”

There are currently five Staybridge Suites properties across Europe – Liverpool, Newcastle, London Stratford Birmingham and St.Petersburg – with a further three in the pipeline.
