The AA revealed the winners of its AA Bed and Breakfast Awards at a ceremony last night (May 12) at the Landmark London Hotel.
Winners of the awards include the Old Railway Yard in Redruth, which scooped AA Friendliest B&B of the Year and was singled out for its hospitality, and The Glove House which won AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for England.
Graham Collier, owner of the Old Railway Yard, said: “For the Old Railway Yard to be a finalist in the AA Friendliest B&B Award is truly amazing but to win is fantastic. To be recognised by such a well established and respected company as the AA is a privilege and an honour.”
San Pietro, a restaurant with 14 boutique bedrooms in Scunthorpe, picked up the ‘Funkiest Bed and Breakfast of the Year’ award, with the AA citing its limited release artwork, ‘stylish decoration’, unusual wallpapers and its feature design furniture.
The award, which has been running for 22 years, aims to acknowledge the excellent services provided by the UK’s very best B&B properties.
