Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, located in the Cheshire countryside, has unveiled a new £1.5m refurbishment of the hotel’s main entrance and reception areas.

The refurbishment included the construction of a two-storey reception area, a new entrance and a mezzanine floor above the reception with a break-out lounge area for guests.

The redevelopment also included the refurbishment of a number of the hotel’s bedrooms along with the renovation of two function suites, which will be used for small weddings, corporate meetings and social events.

Susan Nelson, owner of the 74-bedroom hotel, said: “Historically and architecturally, different aspects of the hotel have been redeveloped and modernised. Having focused on these areas individually, the hotel lacked consistency from both an aesthetic and practical point of view.

“We wanted this investment to address this issue by bringing together the disparate parts of the hotel. The result is spectacular and we are thrilled to have achieved our objective.

“We are absolutely elated with every aspect of this project and proud to build upon our reputation as one of Cheshire’s finest hotels.”
