Arnos Manor Hotel on the market for £3.5m

The freehold of Arnos Manor Hotel, which is owned by the St James Hotel Group, has been put on the market for £3.5m.

The 18th Century property was built in 1760 as the private home of the wealthy merchant, William Reeve. It features 73 bedrooms, a restaurant, lounge, chapel and four conference suites.

Jonathan Hill, director at Christie & Co’s Bristol office, which is handling the sale, said: “Arnos Manor Hotel would make an excellent investment for an experienced operator looking to invest in the South West region.

“As one of the most populated cities in the South of England and one of the strongest economies outside of London, Bristol is a hugely vibrant town attractive to both business and leisure visitors, and is just a short drive from the Georgian city of Bath – a World Heritage site.”

Hill said the site could also offer further development opportunities subject to planning.
