The 109-bedroom Wessex Hotel in Bournemouth has been sold to a local investor for £3.75m.
The property on West Cliff Road was sold by LaSalle Investment Management, represented by Savills local investor Philip Oram
It is a popular wedding and conference venue, catering for up to 200 or 400 guests respectively. The hotel features a restaurant, bar, leisure club and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Martin Rogers, hotels director at Savills, comments: “The market for regional hotels remains strong and Bournemouth is one of the most competitive from a property demand perspective, attracting both national and international interest.”
