Revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased by 12.3% to £139.79 for London hoteliers in October.
That is according to preliminary data from STR Global which found average daily rate (ADR) was the main driver of performance for the month, with hotels benefiting from the Rugby World Cup and two National Football League games.
Average daily rate increased by 11.9% during the month to £159.29, while occupancy grew 0.4% to 87.8%.
Meanwhile, there was a 1.8% increase in supply and a 2.2% increase in demand. In each of the two previous months supply growth had outstripped demand.
