Among the expansions was the launch of the 100-bedroom Leeds East Ramada by Wyndham in September.
The Ramada by Wyndham brand also featured new establishments in Madrid, Valencia, and Budapest as part of the firm’s “continued growth”.
Dimitris Manikis, president for EMEA at Wyndham, said: “Despite all of the challenges our industry is facing in the wake of Covid-19, I am incredibly proud of our continued growth and the huge efforts taken by our hotel partners and teams who have shown incredible resilience to keep up with changing demand in unforeseen circumstances.”
Adding to the group’s expanding portfolio, which included the first Ramada Encore and the Super 8 by Wyndham, was a number of senior leadership appointments and commercial programmes.
Manikis added that the company’s focus lies in the “long-term success” of its brands and partners, which he thinks the business is “well positioned” to achieve.
