Harbour Hotels has announced it has taken over the management of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in Guildford, Surrey.
The 183-bedroom – previously managed by Edwardian Hotels London on behalf of its owners for the past four years – has been renamed the Guildford Harbour Hotel and features a restaurant, bar, dining terrace and a spa.
Harbour Hotels, which recently acquired the nearby Ship Hotel in Chichester, said it plans to rebrand the property’s restaurant and bar under its Jetty brand in a bid to bring it in line with the rest of its portfolio.
Mike Warren, managing director at Harbour Hotels, said: “We are very excited to be taking the Harbour Hotels brand to Guildford; with a principal position in the heart of the town, we plan to maximise on this popular location with a full refurbishment programme – to include our award-winning restaurant and bar concepts.”
Harbour Hotels’ portfolio now spans 13 coastal, country and city locations across the UK.
