Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel appoints new general manager
Josh Watts has been appointed as the new general manager of Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel.
The four-star hotel has undergone refurbishments in the last year to make the 186-room property reflect the street art culture of Bristol.
Watts previously managed Jupiter-owned property Mercure Elcot Park Newbury before moving on to Mercure Grand North Bristol. He oversaw the renovation of both hotels.
Watts said, “I’m delighted to be the General Manager of such an iconic hotel in the beautiful city of Bristol.
“Those revisiting the hotel will experience a very different feel from the style and décor, while the friendly and welcoming Mercure service remains.
“I look forward to welcoming guests back to the Bristol Grand, as well as greeting new friends with open arms as I take on this new position”
