QDOS Communications has provided cloud-based telecoms system for a Europe’s newest hotel brand, Moxy.
Moxy Hotels is aimed at the “millennial tech-savvy traveller” and has properties in London, Aberdeen, Frankfurt and Berlin. It launched in 2014 with its first hotel in Milan.
The brand was set up by Marriott International and Belvar, a hotel management and development company.
QDOS developed the Mitel MiCloud Hospitality platform, which aims to meet “the expectations of the millennial traveller” as well as allowing hotel staff to work flexibly. It is mobile and wireless, meaning staff can keep in contact regardless of location.
Simon Catterick, chief executive of QDOS Communications said: “We are proud to have been chosen by Belvar – offering a hospitality industry-leading simple yet comprehensive, flexible, and reliable Cloud Communications platform.
“With Belvar developing and managing multiple Marriott branded limited service and full service hotels in the UK and across Europe, we look forward to further developing our relationship in the months and years ahead.”
