The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire has been awarded the exclusive contract to host the prestigious Boodles Classique tennis event.

Following on from a £15 million re-launch last year, the award-winning resort was chosen to host the event for its customer service, accessibility, services and amenities, and surroundings.

Located against the backdrop of the Mere Lake, The Mere Golf Resort is set among 150 acres of private parkland.

Tennis stars already committed to attend the two-day event include Mark Philippoussis, Henri Leconte and former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek.
