The Cockliffe Country House has appointed two new senior employees at its luxury hotel and event venue.
A new head chef and events and wedding manager have been appointed to cope with the upcoming wedding season.
The announcements come after a refurbishment at the hotel, based in Burntstump Country Park, undertaken by hotel group Heritage Estates.
Sam James joins the property as the new head chef, with previous roles at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, Beaufort House in Chelsea, and The Plaza, overlooking Hyde Park.
Nadia Mirhosseini has been hired to “develop and enhance” the customer experience during weddings and events.
Jon-Paul Davies, director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sam to the team here, and are excited to use his expertise to build on the already strong reputation of our hotel.
“We are excited to have someone of his calibre leading the food offer of our venue during this exciting and important period of development and beyond.”
He added: “Nadia’s strong customer service focus and attention to detail give her the perfect skills to ensure we continue to provide the high standards that our wedding and events clientele expect.”
