Accountancy firm Mazars will hold a series of round table events to discuss the changes in the hospitality and leisure industry.
The discussions will be “informal” and will be open to employers in the sector.
Talks will cover three main topics: the national minimum wage, the impact of Brexit on EU nationals, and getting gratuities and service charges right.
- Tuesday 20 June – The National Minimum Wage and when an employer may unintentionally fall foul of the law. An update on calculating holiday pay taking into account overtime and commission.
- Thursday 22 June – Brexit: its likely impact on EU nationals and recruitment. Ensuring your UK workforce is legal.
- Wednesday 28 June – Tipping the balance: getting the collection and distribution of gratuities and service charges right. Ensuring an efficient and compliant tronc system.
The discussions will take place at the Mazars offices in London and those who want to attend can register on the company website.
