The Grosvenor Hotel in Torquay has been awarded with two AA rosettes just weeks after completing a major refurbishment.
The bar and a number of bedrooms were renovated, while the hotel’s restaurant John Burton-Race saw the “biggest change”.
The hotel, which is part of the Richardson Hotels group, saw a change to its restaurant with a seasonally focused menu designed to make the best of the local produce available.
Keith Richardson, owner of the Richardson Hotels, said: “This recognises the hard work and dedication of the kitchen brigade and the front of house team.
“Executive chef John Burton-Race’s creativity and talent is clear to see and taste in the delicious food that is served at The Grosvenor.”
