Profitroom has bolstered its specialist team with the appointment of Andrius Remeikis as senior business development manager, and Natalie Pomroy as its business development manager.

The hotel marketing specialist, which helps the hospitality industry drive direct bookings for hotels, said it believes “delivering cutting edge services requires a cutting edge team”.

It added that the two new appointments have “abundant” experience and will be able to enhance the brand’s specialist knowledge of the industry, whilst also effectively marketing its “technical proficiency”.

Pomroy began her career in travel agencies before being appointed to a sales manager role for Hilton Olympia. She has since spent many years in senior sales and marketing roles for both independent and chain hotels.

Remeikis, meanwhile, has more than 15 years of hospitality sales and commercial leadership experience, and joined Profitroom after working with a range of hospitality businesses globally, including luxury boutique hotels and large branded chains.

His new role will see him engaging with a wider community of hotel leaders, with the aim of solving their pain points related to customer loyalty and overall profitability.

Samantha Williams, director of Business Development at Profitroom said: “Andrius and Natalie’s skill set combined with their extensive hospitality expertise make for a fantastic addition to the team.

“At Profitroom, we’re focused on delivering services and solutions that genuinely meet the needs of hotels and who better to draw upon than two individuals with a wealth of experience? With recent expansions to our client-base, both in the UK and internationally, their contribution will be paramount as we continue to grow.”

Remeikis added “The best part is that absolutely everyone is fully dedicated to the success of the hotels we partner with, which leads to our success as a company. Despite many of us working remotely, there is a real team spirit and a proper support network.

“There is also a strong integrity element in our business and we really partner with hotels for a long ride as opposed to a short term gain. There is an innate appetite to grow and succeed which keeps everyone in the company energised and motivated.”

Pomroy concluded: “I love working for a company that really does look after its employees. At Profitroom, you are valued and looked after — with constant opportunities to learn. I am taking up Polish this week as a second language which should be an exciting new challenge.

“I know it sounds cliché, but everyone in the company is there for each other and with many of us having a hotel or hospitality background, we understand the pain points and frustrations that our customers have.”
