Brama Bromley hotel to open this summer

The 23-room hotel is part of the major renovation of Bromley Old Town Hall, bringing a new lease of life to the historical building

Brama, Bromley’s newest and only boutique hotel, has announced it will be welcoming guests just in time for summer.

The hotel will have 23 rooms that combine convenience and comfort, drawing inspiration from its surroundings to create an experience that welcomes guests into the community.

Brama is part of the major renovation of Bromley Old Town Hall following its addition to the Heritage at Risk register in 2009, bringing a new lease of life to the historical building and surrounding area.

The design-led hotel is perfectly positioned for locals, visitors and city workers alike in the heart of Bromley. Brama benefits from close proximity to local amenities such as The Glades shopping centre and Bromley South and North train stations, which offer connection to central London within as little as 16 minutes. Bromley is home to its own private business airport, London Biggin Hill, and Gatwick international airport is also less than an hour away.

Brama will open its doors early summer, with rooms starting from £109 per night.

In addition to Brama, Bromley Old Town Hall has also been transformed into a new multi-use destination for Bromley, such as flexible workspace by Clockwise and all-day restaurant Dorothy and Marshall.

The building’s original breathtaking art deco design still runs throughout: Brama features subtle architectural nods to the era, incorporating modern elements for a comfortable stay.

Alexandra Livesey, managing director of Brama and chief operating officer of Clockwise said: “Bromley Old Town Hall has such a rich heritage, we discovered amazing architectural details which we’ve worked tirelessly to restore carefully and sensitively while introducing practical modern elements.

“We wanted to bring the building back to life, position it once again as a space for the community and local area while welcoming guests from further afield to show all that Bromley has to offer. The opening of Brama hotel as part of this mixed use scheme is an exciting addition and there’s nothing else like it in the area.”
